Last Friday Ariana Grande released her third career album ‘Dangerous Woman‘ and we immediately rated it a must-have for any music lover. The 11 songs were testament of how far the Florida chanteuse has come from her days as a Nickelodeon TV character. Not only is Ariana a grown woman, Time magazine this year named her one of the world’s most influential women. After releasing the album’s title back in March, Ariana gave us the second taste of the new project at the beginning of this month with the single ‘Into You’. The song was a brazen admission that her lover has her in the palm of their hands and that she’s now ready to “get closer and closer now, till we cross the line”. Just in case you were in doubt as to what she means she makes it plain in the hook: “a little less conversation and a little more touch my body”.
With the newly released video for Into You, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, she makes it even plainer the line she wants her boo to cross. As the sun sets over a dusty landscape Ariana and her bearded hunk ride off to a dingy motel where they get drunk and silly and make out severally. The scene then shifts to a sophisticated evening party where she exchanges glances with her man, who is working security. Presumably this is where the romance starts.
