Last year (a couple of weeks back), we introduced you to a heartwarming orchestral pop band from Austin, Texas by the name of American Dreamer. At the time the 5-piece outfit had just released its first full-length album, ‘Restless Nights‘. Of the 11 gems that filled this recording, none captured the energy of waking up to a smiling sun better than ‘All the Time’. Swaddled in lush violin and given rhythm by gentle drums and tribal percussions, it is a beautiful acoustic ode to the possibilities love can open up. That radiant feeling engendered by this tune is aptly captured in its newly released video, directed by Nina Alexander, Dillon Lundeen Goldschlag, and Colin Healey.
With so many minds committed to the creation of this visual, it had to be something highly imaginative and well executed. And that it is. As the strings ensue we’re introduced to a mop-haired creature with no face that seems to live for the simple pleasures. It finds an oversize Number 2 pencil and begins doodling, but in no time the creature is able to draw an accurate self-portrait. It then produces numerous pieces, imagining itself in different environments and scenarios. In the end those dreams come to life spectacularly.
