All Saints is that English-Canadian female Pop group that’s not the Spice Girls. Formed in 1993 in London, the group released their debut album in 1997. The self-titled album became the third highest-selling female-group album of all time in the United Kingdom. They followed it up with their highly-successful ‘Saints and Sinners’ in 2000 and with no Yoko Ono in sight, the band split in 2001 after an alleged fight over who would wear a particular jacket on a photo shoot, seriously! They reunited in 2006 for ‘Studio 1,’ which bombed at the charts peaking only at Number 40 in the UK and leading to another split in 2009.
After a series of live performances in 2014, the group reunited for the third time and it seems to be the charm as they released their fourth studio album in April this year. Titled ‘Red Flag,’ band member Shaznay Lewis wrote most of the songs on the album, which debuted at Number 3 on the albums chart. The reunion seems to be holding as there have been no reports of bickering over jackets or anything of the sorts. The group embarked on their ‘Red Flag Tour’ in October 2016 and even made an appearance at the V Festival on August 20, twerking their way back into their fans’ hearts.
