Following in the footsteps of Maybach Music Group founder Rick Ross, Pryme Rothstein is an eager young MC looking to put Miami-Dade County on the map. And like Rozay Pryme, A.K.A Jamal Williams, wasn’t born in the Magic City. His roots are in Nassau, Bahamas but he moved to Miami looking to make a name for himself in an industry where only the fittest of the fit survive. Growing up in the streets of Brownsville, far from making Pryme conform to a lifestyle of crime, strengthened his resolve to make something of himself while unleashing the creativity in him. It also proved a rich source of artistic inspiration. And it is this inspiration he poured into his first mixtape ‘The Effort’.
Pryme has now just released the follow-up to that first recording. To show that the progression he’s made as a lyricist and rapper he has called the new mixtape, released a few days ago, ‘The Effort Continues 2’, promoted under the hashtag #TEC2. It is currently available on Datpiff, hosted by DJ Gee Smoove. ‘Bruce Wayne’ is one of 24 tracks on TEC2 and it further showcases Pryme’s versatility. TEC 2 is not the end game; it’s the Miami emcee’s way of prepping listeners for the release of his upcoming project ‘Pryme Example’. Look out for that later. For now let us know what you think of ‘Bruce Wayne’, esteemed reader. Hate it or Love it?
