These are exciting times for Grandaddy fans. The indie rock outfit just announced that they will have a new album out March 3 next year, 10 years after they split up. ‘Last Place’ will be the title of that long-awaited third Grandaddy album, the first since Jason Lytle and co. came back together in 2012. Ever since Lytle expressed excitement at working on another GD record September last year, fans have been waiting on tenterhooks. But it appears their patience will be rewarded in the coming months. To bolster the faith of their diehards and to remind us why we fell in love with them, the California quintet released two new songs in the form of a double-sided single ‘Way We Won’t/Clear Your History‘ back in September.
