Umqombothi is made from sorghum malt, yeast, maize, maize malt, and sometimes sugar, and God knows what, you would be forgiven if you thought the beer doesn’t pack a punch, but I’ve seen grown men go down on their knees after a few shots of the traditional beer. The song was featured in the opening scene of 2004’s “Hotel Rwanda.”
